In another publication on social networks, in September, the restaurant led by chef Nuno Barros He explained that the decision to end the 1300 Tavern was the administration of LX Factory. “After several years of work and dedication, we were surprised by the decision of the Administration and the current shareholders of not renewing our contract, assigning the space of 1300 Taberna to another company in the sector,” he reads.
In the same postthey regretted the decision. “We deeply regret this option above all because, over these years, we have always maintained an exemplary relationship, fulfilling all our obligations to LX Factory and actively contributing to its cultural and gastronomic dynamics,” they say.
At the same time, they criticized “The direction that LX Factory is taking: a space that was once a symbol of a different city, living artists, space of creativity and innovation, but today increasingly moves away from this essence that made it unique”.
LX Factory, in the current configuration, has existed since 2008. It is today one of the places widely visited by tourists who pass through Lisbon.
